Job summary

Ashfield MedComms is seeking a Senior Medical Writer to join our publications team and contribute to a growing oncology portfolio with solid tumour therapies.

You will develop abstracts, manuscripts and posters, while collaborating with clients and external experts to translate complex clinical data into publishable content. Oncology experience is highly desirable and you will work under a Scientific Team Director to shape strategic publications.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in science or medicine (e.g., MSc, PhD, PharmD, MD).
• Several years of medical writing experience in a medical communications agency.
• Excellent scientific writing, editing and critical appraisal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop abstracts, manuscripts and posters for scientific and medical audiences.
• Create publication enhancements and other scientific communications.
• Contribute to publication strategy and publication plans.
• Support gap analyses to identify opportunities within the evidence landscape.
• Develop lexicons and other strategic scientific resources.
• Research, interpret and critically evaluate scientific and clinical data.
• Work with authors, KOLs, clients and teams through content development.
• Contribute scientific and strategic thinking to the wider account.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines with high quality output.
