Job summary

Langland, a Publicis Health company, is seeking a Senior Medical Writer I to join our healthcare communications team. You will shape evidence-based content that engages healthcare professionals, patients and wider audiences, translating complex science into clear, compliant materials.

You'll lead writing assignments from briefing to delivery, work with account, strategy, creative and scientific colleagues, review literature and trial data, and provide scientific editorial guidance throughout

Qualifications

• Experience in medical writing within pharma or healthcare comms.
• Strong understanding of clinical data interpretation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; adaptable for audiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality scientific and medical content across a range of healthcare communication projects
• Translate complex clinical and scientific data into clear, accurate and engaging materials for different audiences
• Lead writing assignments from briefing through to final delivery, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met
• Collaborate closely with account, strategy, creative and scientific colleagues to deliver integrated solutions for clients
• Review and interpret scientific literature, clinical trial data and other evidence sources to support content development
• Provide scientific expertise and editorial guidance throughout project lifecycles, helping maintain accuracy and compliance
• Build trusted relationships with clients and contribute to discussions that enhance project outcomes and innovation

Qualifications

• Previous experience in medical writing within a healthcare communications agency, pharmaceutical company or related environment
• Strong understanding of scientific research, clinical data interpretation and evidence-based communication
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt style for different audiences
• High attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, compliant and high-quality work
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
• Collaborative mindset and confidence working with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders
• Curiosity, adaptability and a genuine passion for healthcare, science and continuous learning
