Newton Colmore is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer for a Cambridge-based role focused on medical devices. You will lead projects, contribute hands-on to device development, and coordinate with cross-disciplinary teams and external partners in a dynamic consultancy environment.

The position emphasises design excellence, collaboration, and delivering medical innovations with real-world impact. A strong mechanical engineering background and medical devices experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in Mechanical Design of Medical Devices.
• Familiarity with any 3D CAD tool; SolidWorks advantageous.
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred; experience can compensate in some cases.
• Experience as a consultant, project manager or equivalent with third-party interaction.

• Lead projects and act as a senior contributor in Medical Devices development.
