STADA Thornton & Ross in Reading (Hybrid) is seeking a Senior Medical Advisor to shape and deliver Medical Affairs strategy for the Specialty Medicines portfolio. You will connect internal teams, healthcare professionals and the global Medical Affairs organisation to advance scientific exchange, education, and cross-functional collaboration.

The role involves external engagement with HCPs, advisory boards and educational events, plus development of medical materials and internal training.

Qualifications

• Degree in Medicine, Pharmacy or Life Sciences.
• Proven experience within Medical Affairs in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong scientific and clinical knowledge.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain expertise in assigned therapeutic areas and specialty products.
• Provide scientific and medical support to internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment with local and global Medical Affairs plans.
• Support scientific interactions with healthcare professionals and participate in advisory boards, expert meetings and educational events.
• Gather and share medical insights from external stakeholders to inform strategy and identify unmet patient needs.
• Contribute to the development of scientific materials, internal training initiatives, and medical education programs.
• Collaborate with the Medical Science Liaison (MSL) team to ensure consistent messaging and effective field medical activities.
• Act as a key interface with global Medical Affairs colleagues, supporting the localisation of global strategies and ensuring UK market insights are represented.

About The Role

As a Senior Medical Advisor, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering the Medical Affairs strategy for STADA UK's Specialty portfolio. Acting as a critical link between internal teams, healthcare professionals and the global Medical Affairs organisation, you will contribute to advancing scientific exchange, medical education, and cross‑functional collaboration. This hybrid role combines office‑based responsibilities with external engagement, giving you the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in both settings.
