Job summary

Probe UK is seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a stable shift maintenance team in a well-supported facility. The role offers the chance to work in a mature environment with robust processes and genuine training opportunities.

The ideal candidate will hold City & Guilds / NVQ 3 in mechanical maintenance and have proven experience in heavy hydraulics and pneumatics within manufacturing settings. Right to work in the UK is required.

Qualifications

• Formally qualified in mechanical maintenance to City & Guilds/NVQ 3 minimum.
• Proven experience in supporting plant and equipment in manufacturing or production environments.
• Experience with heavy hydraulics and pneumatics applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned and reactive maintenance across the plant.
• Work within an established maintenance team to ensure equipment reliability.
• Support the ongoing operation and safety of site heavy machinery.
