Job Description

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure that our projects are completed on time and within budget. You will work alongside a principal consultant on all types of project sizes and complexities, with a particular emphasis on delivering project and technical engineering solutions for clients, following an agile approach to identify new and more efficient ways of working.

Requirements
  • At least 10 years’ experience working in a relevant engineering field.
  • A strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles and a passion for innovation.
  • Experience of using design software tools including E3D, Finglow and stress analysis programmes.
  • Experience in design verification of piping and mechanical installations.
  • Experience in piping and mechanical design.
  • Sound understanding of international and standards.
  • Minimum 2:1 Degree level qualified in a relevant Mechanical Engineering discipline.
  • Effective communication skills and be customer focused. Able to manage uncertain and complex situations.
  • Clean UK Driving License.
  • Energetic, enthusiastic and self‑motivated candidate, with a drive to develop and further their career.
  • Engineering and Operating experience working in High Hazard Oil, Gas & Chemicals Industry (desirable).
  • Chartered member of relevant institution e.g. Institution of Mechanical Engineers.
