Job summary

Talent Motion is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer in Kent to join a small, driven building services consultancy with a strong track record and ambitious growth plans.

You will lead mechanical design from concept to detailed design, mentor junior engineers, manage budgets and programmes, and work closely with clients, architects and contractors to deliver high-quality, energy-efficient solutions across Education, Healthcare, Commercial, Residential and Heritage projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of mechanical building services projects from concept to detailed design
• Develop practical, energy-efficient and commercially sound engineering solutions
• Coordinate mechanical designs with the wider building services and construction requirements
• Prepare and review engineering calculations, drawings, specifications and technical reports
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to design process improvements
• Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements and relevant regulations
