Senior Mechanical Engineer - Complex Sensor Design

Newton Colmore is working with a deep tech company in Cambridgeshire and we are searching for a senior mechanical engineer to join the team.

This exciting new role will give the senior Mechanical Engineer an excellent opportunity to work on complex research projects, alongside world‑class engineers, and scientists.

This position will also encompass technical leadership within the team but will remain very much a hands‑on role focused on the design and development of complex devices and instruments. The devices you will work on vary in size, from handheld through to large sensor‑based instruments and will be used to detect and measure a variety of different parameters. You will be taking ideas from eureka moment through to manufacture and deployment.
