Job summary

SubSea Craft Limited, a UK-based maritime technology company, seeks an experienced mechanical engineer to lead and deliver complex projects. You will work on next-generation watercraft systems, applying 3D CAD (Autodesk Inventor) and precise 2D drawings with GD&T to meet tight schedules.

Responsibilities

• Create and develop elegant solutions to complex mechanical problems.
• Expertise in 3D CAD, ideally Autodesk Inventor.
• Expertise in 2D drawing development, ideally GD&T to a high standard.
• Justify solutions with engineering calculations and analysis.
• Capture and review requirements at systems, product and user experience level.
• Work with the engineering project team to deliver to strict schedules.
• Report progress and identify strengths and weaknesses in delivery.
• Support the Head of Mechanical to provide insight to business strategic vision.
• Compliant with all aspects of company legislative compliance, HSE, HR etc

Note: Due to the nature of work undertaken at SubSea Craft, the selected candidate must be capable of meeting the security requirements of the position, which would include as a minimum existing right to live and work in the UK, Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS), with UK National security clearance required for certain roles.*
