Job summary

Le candidat retenu jouera un rôle essentiel dans la gestion de projets innovants, en apportant son expertise à des projets d'infrastructure critiques au Royaume-Uni et à l'international. Ce rôle est conçu pour un ingénieur chartered avec une solide expérience dans la conception dans le secteur de l'eau, visant à fournir des solutions d'ingénierie de classe mondiale tout au long du cycle de vie du projet.

Qualifications

• Ingénieur Mécanicien Chartered.
• Expérience dans le secteur de l'eau/eaux usées.
• Expérience en livraison de conception, y compris conception multidisciplinaire.

Responsibilities

• Gérer une équipe pour réaliser des travaux de conception technique suivant les normes et codes de conception.
• Préparer des briefs, portées de travail, et participer aux propositions.
• Gérer le temps et les budgets selon les jalons et programmes clés.

My Client is recruiting for a Senior Mechanical Engineer in the Water Sector

We specialise in all aspects of mechanical engineering, within multiple challenging and engaging sectors such as Water, Aviation, Defence, Energy, Cities & Development and Education. We continue to provide industry–leading mechanical engineering solutions right through the project lifecycle, with value added through client–side support as well as construction phases. We are looking for Engineers to join our Water Team.

Your Purpose:

1. Manage a team to undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes, and to high–quality levels.
2. Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and input into bid proposals.
3. Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes.
4. Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
5. Adhere to quality assurance standards in design.

What you can bring:

• Chartered Mechanical Engineer.
• Experience in the Water/Wastewater Sector.
• Experience in design delivery, including multidisciplinary design.
• Sound knowledge in mechanical equipment, such as pumps, blowers, screens and chemical dosing plant as well as an in–depth understanding of current UK design standards and working practices.
• Strong understanding of legislation such as CDM and ATEX.
