You\'ll take full ownership of a £30M mechanical package, managing design completion, coordination, and system integration from pre-construction through to delivery, ensuring the highest standards of technical excellence and project performance.

The Role

As the Senior Mechanical Engineer, you\'ll play a pivotal role in delivering a major mechanical package on a landmark project in the heart of London. You\'ll oversee coordination between design, construction, and commissioning teams — ensuring safety, quality, and sustainability remain central to project delivery.

This position offers the opportunity to work on one of London\'s most exciting developments while contributing to innovative, large-scale building services solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate mechanical works and MEP design activities
• Manage subcontractor and supplier interfaces across all project stages
• Drive safety, quality, and sustainability throughout delivery
• Integrate modern methods of construction (MMC) and digital tools to improve efficiency
• Support the project management team in achieving programme and budget targets

Requirements

• Proven background in mechanical engineering and system commissioning
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, construction sequencing, and programme control
• Experience in commercial management and procurement
• Excellent coordination, communication, and leadership skills
• Relevant technical qualifications (BTEC/HNC/Degree)
• Valid CSCS and SMSTS certifications preferred
