Job summary

Senior Mechanical Engineer in Birmingham City Centre to join a sustainability-focused building services consultancy. You will lead the design and delivery of projects from concept through to completion, mentoring junior engineers and building strong client relationships across Healthcare, Education, Residential, Commercial and Net Zero developments.

This role offers hybrid working, exposure to technically challenging, sustainable projects, and a collaborative culture that invests in its people.

Qualifications

• Extensive mechanical building services design experience.
• Lead projects across full design lifecycle.
• Strong client-facing and project management skills.
• Experience with industry-standard design software and UK Building Regulations.
• Chartered status (or actively working towards CEng) is advantageous.

I'm currently working with a leading, sustainability-focused building services consultancy that's looking to appoint a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join its growing team in Birmingham City Centre.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects across Healthcare, Education, Residential, Commercial, Industrial, Pharmaceutical, Public Sector, and Net Zero developments. You'll take a lead role in the design and delivery of projects from concept through to completion, while mentoring junior engineers and building strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Extensive Mechanical Building Services design experience
• A proven track record of leading projects across the full design lifecycle
• Strong client-facing and project management skills
• Experience with industry-standard design software and UK Building Regulations
• Chartered status (or actively working towards CEng) is advantageous
