Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer for a client in Burton on Trent. You will work on design and creation of large scale fabrications, pipework and equipment, from concept to completion, with some UK and overseas travel.

The role requires strong mechanical design background, experience with Inventor and 2D/3D CAD, and qualification to at least HNC in a relevant discipline.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in mechanical design for large plant, machinery or fabrications.
• Experience producing metal fabrication drawings and layouts.
• Knowledge of international standards and installation coordination.

Responsibilities

• Produce 2D and 3D engineering design proposal drawings.
• Create general arrangement and fabrication details drawings.
• Develop pipework layouts and manufacturing drawings.
• Collaborate on projects from conception to completion.
