Job summary

A leading engineering company is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team in Huddersfield. This permanent position requires at least 5 years of experience and proficiency in CAD, particularly SolidWorks and AutoCAD. The ideal candidate will have a background in mechanical engineering, with experience in the water industry being an asset.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years' experience in a similar Design Engineering / Mechanical Engineering position.
• Degree / HNC / HND / BTEC / NVQ qualified in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
• Experience working with hydraulics and pneumatics is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Using CAD for concept design and producing technical drawings.
• Designing conveyors and other machinery.
• Liaising with manufacturing providers and clients.
