A leading multi-disciplinary building services consultancy is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to design and coordinate mechanical systems in building projects. Responsibilities include conducting condition surveys, preparing technical reports, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Candidates should have a minimum HNC in Mechanical Engineering and experience in building services design. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is required, along with strong communication skills and a full UK driving license.

The Leeds office is looking to expand the with the appointment of a Mechanical Design Engineer who is experienced in delivering building services design and conducting condition surveys. Whilst the project portfolio spans many sectors and the appointed Engineer can look forward to being involved in the design of many types and sizes of buildings, the survey work currently involves inspections for a well-known supermarket chain and therefore retail experience would be desirable.
As a Mechanical Design Engineer you will be responsible for the design, specification, and coordination of mechanical building services systems. Surveys will predominately include assessing the condition and compliance of existing HVAC services, developing retrofit and upgrade strategies in line with industry standards.
