Overview

This position: Mechanical Building Services Engineer is with one of The Midlands leading Building Services Consultants who have an extensive pipeline of works and need another Designer to add to their strong team. You will be involved in projects across the healthcare, industrial and commercial sectors and will be a key member of the close-knit Consulting team. Routes to progress are there for you to grab with both hands and staff retention is extremely high so you will be able to develop meaningful relationships from your colleagues and collaborate and learn from them.

Responsibilities

• Managing the design and delivery of projects up to the value of £5M - up to RIBA stage 3
• Working with a close-knit consulting team
• Client facing, looking after 3 highly valued clients
• Working on highly respected projects across sectors including: Healthcare, Commercial and Industrial
• Using the latest Design packages and technology to assure constant development
• Offered opportunities to progress and grow

Qualifications and Experience

• We would love to speak to people who are currently working within the Building Services Sector as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, Mechanical Engineer or Mechanical Building Services Design Engineer, with either a Consultancy or a Contracting background.
• Working knowledge of programmes such as Hevacomp.
• HND and/or Degree in Mechanical/Building Services Engineering, CIBSE membership.

Salary and Benefits

Salary: £55-65K plus car. Includes automatic enrolment in private healthcare and the pension scheme. Hybrid working (2 days from home).
