Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer
Salary: Up to GBP500 per day (outside IR35, dependent on experience)
Location: Manchester (M32 0RS) – hybrid, minimum 3 days per week in office
Type: Contract

About the Role:

Our client is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to take a leading role on projects within the UK regulated water industry. You'll be responsible for delivering complex mechanical designs on various UMON projects at Sewage Treatment Works, guiding junior engineers and collaborating closely with the wider team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead mechanical design work for UK water sector projects.
  • Guide and mentor junior engineers within the team.
  • Ensure designs comply with relevant UK standards and regulations.
  • Support project delivery from concept through to detailed design and implementation.
What Our Client is Looking For:
