Job summary

MARS Recruitment is seeking a Senior Production Technician in Witney to lead mechanical assembly, testing and quality inspection of precision valve systems, following engineering drawings and strict tolerances.

The role requires strong hands-on skills, good teamwork and ability to work to high standards; salary £40,000–£45,000 plus company pension, death in service, and 25 days holiday.

Qualifications

• Ideally a BTEC, HNC or HND in Mechanical Engineering with relevant assembly, manufacturing or production experience
• Strong mechanical assembly skills with the ability to assemble complex mechanical components to a high standard.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to interpret and work from engineering drawings, technical specifications and dimensional tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical and electronic assembly, testing and quality inspection of valve systems.
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to meet tight tolerances.
• Follow established assembly procedures and quality standards.
• Collaborate with team to achieve targets and maintain product quality.
