Job summary

United Lincolnshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking an experienced Community and Continuity of Carer Maternity Matron (Band 8A) in Lincoln. This pivotal role leads community and continuity of carer services across maternity, assuring quality, safety and patient-centred care.

The post holder will drive service development, governance and performance across the maternity pathway in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and partner organisations.

Qualifications

• Professional Midwifery Registration.
• Educated to degree level.
• Postgraduate Diploma or equivalent in relevant field.
• Masters degree.
• Post-graduate management qualification and/or extensive management experience.
• Teaching and assessment qualification.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible professional leadership and guidance to support maternity care.
• Lead development, implementation and monitoring of community services.
• Ensure compliance with national standards, regulatory requirements and local objectives.
