Job summary

JCB is seeking an experienced Materials & Production Planning Manager in the United Kingdom to lead materials planning, inventory control and production scheduling. You will ensure material availability, optimise inventory levels and maintain an efficient production plan to support operational and commercial objectives.

You will lead the planning teams, monitor KPIs, drive improvements, support MRP development and provide senior management with regular reporting and analysis.

Qualifications

• Leads and develops materials and production planning teams.
• Monitors KPIs for inventory, supplier performance, delivery and schedule adherence.
• Drives continuous improvement in planning and inventory management.
• Supports MRP system development and process improvements.
• Provides regular reporting and analysis to senior management.
• Monitors aged stock, excess inventory and obsolescence.
• Manages material planning strategies to ensure uninterrupted production.
• Manages supplier performance and forecasting alignment.

Responsibilities
