Job summary

Synopsys, Inc. is seeking an experienced materials data management expert to partner with engineering, IT, and product teams to design scalable MIM solutions that integrate with PLM, CAE, and enterprise systems.

You will lead workshops, mentor engineers, translate data governance challenges into practical recommendations, and help shape a future roadmap based on field feedback across global engineering organizations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in engineering, software, consulting, or customer-facing technical roles.
• Strong understanding of product development and data flows through lifecycle.
• Hands-on or deep familiarity with Material Information Management or enterprise data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Partner with sales and technical teams to demonstrate MIM solutions across PLM/CAE integrations.
• Act as senior technical advisor for customers implementing MIM platforms and guide integrations.
• Lead workshops to map data workflows, identify gaps, and design scalable solutions.
• Translate data governance and integration challenges into actionable recommendations for engineers and leadership.
• Serve as SME for MIM in customer engagements and internal initiatives and influence roadmap priorities.
