Senior Marketing Planning Manager / Contract / £550 per day / London

We're looking for a strategic, insight-driven Senior Marketing Planning Manager to lead marketing planning, campaign direction and performance across our organisation. You'll shape annual and quarterly marketing plans, champion the brand, and ensure our marketing activity is effective, data‑led and aligned with business goals.

This role sits at the centre of marketing, product, finance and membership teams, ideal for someone who enjoys connecting the dots, driving clarity, and delivering high-impact work. You will also manage a Marketing Executive.

Key responsibilities
  • Lead annual and quarterly marketing planning across priority sectors.
  • Translate insights and business objectives into clear marketing priorities and campaigns.
  • Drive integrated, full‑funnel marketing and ensure consistent brand expression.
  • Oversee key campaigns, case studies and product storytelling.
  • Own the marketing strategy for a major product innovation, working closely with internal and external partners.
  • Define KPIs and reporting frameworks, producing performance dashboards and recommendations.
  • Support budget planning, forecasting and spend vs. ROI tracking.
  • Improve marketing processes, templates and governance.
  • Build strong cross‑functional relationships and manage a Marketing Executive.
Must have experience
  • 7+ years in marketing strategy, planning or campaign management.
  • Strong strategic thinking, commercial awareness and analytical skills.
  • Experience working with budgets, performance reporting and integrated campaigns.
