Job summary

A marine environmental consultancy in Glasgow is seeking an individual with expertise in marine water quality assessments to join their Marine Ecology team. Qualifications

  • 5+ years professional experience in marine consultancy or a technical marine field.
  • Good knowledge of UK's marine biodiversity and EUNIS classification system.
  • Ability to conduct public speaking and project management.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality EIAs and reports including scoping reports.
  • Provide specialist advice to UK and international operators.
  • Support writing proposals and contribute to survey design.

Skills

Delivery of WFD compliance assessment
Plankton and biogeochemical cycles knowledge
Marine biodiversity understanding

Education

BSc or MSc in a relevant technical subject
