Job summary

Capgemini Invent is seeking a senior manufacturing transformation leader to drive large-scale Industry 4.0 and Digital Operations programmes for aerospace and defence clients in the UK. You will define strategies, roadmaps and business cases, and lead cross-functional teams across strategy, engineering, data and cloud to deliver measurable value.

You will build executive relationships, shape transformation outcomes, and ensure benefits realisation while working in a flexible hybrid model

Qualifications

Significant experience leading manufacturing or supply chain transformation within Aerospace & Defence sector, gained within defence or aerospace organisations or top-tier consulting.
Deep expertise in discrete manufacturing operations, including production systems, assembly operations, and quality management.
Proven experience leading large, complex transformation programmes from strategy and business case development through to implementation and value realisation.

Responsibilities

Lead large-scale Smart Manufacturing, Industry 4.0 and Digital Operations transformation programmes across aerospace and defence organisations.
Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, including Manufacturing Directors and Supply Chain Executives.
Develop transformation roadmaps, operating models and business cases that secure executive sponsorship and investment.
Oversee multidisciplinary teams across strategy, manufacturing, engineering, data, AI, cloud and technology disciplines to deliver outcomes at scale.
Shape deployment of Industry 4.0 solutions such as MES, IIoT, AI-powered analytics, digital work instructions and digital twin capabilities.
