Job summary

MBDA UK is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to drive manufacturing technology and capability across defence programmes. You will transform cutting-edge concepts into high-impact manufacturing realities as part of a dynamic, collaborative team.

Leading horizon scanning, applied research and governance of investments, you will deliver scalable automated systems and improved production performance across international partnerships.

Qualifications

• Must have practical knowledge of factory-floor mechanics and technology integration.
• Experience evaluating automation, smart manufacturing and associated lifecycle costs.
• Ability to design, test, and implement robotics, automation and digital tooling.

Responsibilities

• Lead horizon scanning for cross-industry technology to future-proof MBDA manufacturing.
• Direct end-to-end R&D programmes from concept to proof of concept.
• Collaborate with internal operations and external tech providers on automated systems.
• Drive productivity improvements across manufacturing lines and projects.
