Job summary

Sekisui Diagnostics is seeking a Senior Supervisor, Manufacturing (Technical) to lead and optimise large-scale production activities at the Maidstone site. The role focuses on data-driven process monitoring, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration to drive quality, efficiency and compliance.

The successful candidate will manage equipment validation, change control, CAPA processes, and risk assessments, while coordinating with QA, Engineering, and Maintenance teams to deliver

Qualifications

• Experience in large-scale manufacturing including fermentation, downstream processing or chromatography.
• Experience with ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and/or ISO 14001 management systems.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
• Proactive approach to continuous improvement and problem solving.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to team objectives.
• Experience in a cGMP-regulated manufacturing environment is desirable.
• A degree in a relevant scientific, engineering or technical discipline would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyse production data to monitor process performance.
• Plan manufacturing activities to optimise resource use.
• Support QA, HS&E, and regulatory compliance.
• Lead risk assessments and root-cause analyses.
• Coordinate improvement projects and capital investments.
• Assist transfer of new products to manufacturing.
• Support equipment validation and change controls.
• Provide training and cross-training for colleagues.
