Job summary

Aston Martin in St Athan, South Wales, seeks a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to drive robust manufacturing processes and continuous improvement across Tub and Body Construction.

You will lead tooling development, layouts, and production support initiatives, spend ~50% on shop floor and 50% in the office, and work with Product Engineering, Production, Quality, and external suppliers to ensure quality and efficiency for current and future models.

Qualifications

• Minimum ONC qualification with substantial engineering experience in automotive manufacturing.
• Experience in tooling development and manufacturing processes is required.
• Ability to communicate effectively and influence stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing projects across sites to optimise quality, efficiency and cost.
• Develop and maintain process documentation and support new model introductions.
• Collaborate with Product Engineering, Production, Quality, Logistics and suppliers on tooling, layouts and processes.
