Senior Manufacturing Engineer - Implantable Medical Devices - Cambridge

An exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing Implantable Medical Devices division and contribute to innovative Medical Technologies.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior or Principal Manufacturing Engineer with experience in designing production and manufacturing systems within the Medical Devices, Biotechnology, or Sciences industries.

Qualifications
  • Degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Process Engineering.
  • Experience in Manufacturing or Process Engineering, including designing in 3D CAD.
  • Background in maintaining production machinery.
  • Knowledge of ISO 13485, QMS, and GMP.
  • Supply Chain experience is highly advantageous.
Responsibilities
  • Support design teams across multiple functions, focusing on Design for Manufacturing (DFM).
  • Build prototypes and test new rigs to ensure medical devices function correctly and can be manufactured efficiently.
  • Design, build, and test systems, as well as maintain production machinery.
  • Lead various projects and collaborate within teams based on project requirements.
