Job summary

Holt Engineering in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead manufacturing activities across complex assembly and test environments. You will support the shop floor with problem-solving, routings, BOMs and engineering changes, driving APQP and continuous improvement.

The role requires a strong shop-floor presence and collaboration with Engineering, Quality, Production and Supply Chain teams to ensure efficient, compliant manufacturing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering or a similar role.
• Experience in aerospace, defence or other regulated environments is desirable.
• Strong shop-floor problem-solving capability.
• Proven ability to interpret drawings, manage routings and BOMs.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to production and resolve day-to-day manufacturing issues.
• Create and improve manufacturing instructions from drawings and schedules.
• Maintain production routings and Bills of Materials within ERP systems.
• Review engineering changes and define manufacturing implementation points.
• Lead PFMEA, RCCA and wider APQP activity.
