Job description

This organisation are working with cutting‑edge technology in some of the most intense and challenging industries globally.

They're seeking an experienced Senior Engineer who has experience in manufacturing / production environments - ideally for complex electro‑mechanical products.

You’ll be:
  • Leading a small team of Manufacturing Engineers, to provide a high level of engineering support, at this world‑class manufacturing facility near Middlesborough.
  • Overseeing activities such as production support, servicing, commissioning and FAT, new product introduction (NPI), introducing new equipment and technologies, achieving departmental KPI's, etc.
  • Championing a culture of continuous improvement and constantly reviewing ways to improve quality and efficiency for the operation. Also leading on safety and compliance.

Salary is up to £58,000 depending on your skills and experience, with an excellent range of company benefits including healthcare cover and enhanced sick pay.

You should be:
  • Degree qualified (or equivalent) in a relevant Engineering subject e.g. Electrical, Mechanical, Electronic, Manufacturing, etc.
  • Be trained in Lean / Six Sigma / Kaizen or similar.
