Qualifications

• Experience within an Engineering environment where Turning, Boring, Milling and CNC processes are utilised.
• Ability to resolve technical issues and guide teams to maintain quality standards.
• Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and manufacturing drawings.

Responsibilities

• Be the Subject Matter Expert for manufacturing processes.
• Provide technical guidance to Manufacturing & Assembly teams.
• Lead PFMEA reviews and create approval procedures.
• Drive Continuous Improvement within each project.

Skills

Experience as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer

The successful Senior Manufacturing Engineer will be easily able to commute to HUDDERSFIELD from surrounding towns & cities, including Leeds, Dewsbury, Halifax, Wakefield and Brighouse.

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Manufacturing Engineer will include:

• Be the Subject Matter Expert for manufacturing processes liaising between Design Engineer team and Machine Tool Operators
• Provide technical guidance, problem solving skills and direction to the Manufacturing & Assembly teams to ensure quality standards and programme schedules are maintained
• Advise on the manufacturability of components and ability of machines to achieve right first time during the design reviews
• Lead PFMEA reviews including process mapping, risk mitigation and creation of approval procedures
• Interpret and translate technical drawings into manufacturing drawings
• Drive Continuous Improvement within each project
• Create, maintain and improve works orders with accurate routings

Salary & Benefits:

• up to £50,000 depending on experience
• Monday to Friday
• 37.5 hours per week
• 25 Days annual leave + Bank holidays
