About the Role We are working with a leading electromechanical manufacturing company based in Bristol to recruit a Senior Manufacturing Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer to join a forward-thinking organisation at a time of continued growth and investment.

Responsibilities
  • Lead process improvement initiatives across assembly, test, and manufacturing areas.
  • Support the introduction of new products and technologies into production.
  • Develop, validate, and optimise manufacturing methods, tooling, and equipment.
  • Work closely with design, quality, and operations teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Create and maintain process documentation including work instructions and standard operating procedures.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for manufacturing issues.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to reduce waste and improve efficiency (Lean / Six Sigma).
  • Support the training and development of production staff in new methods and equipment.
About You
  • Degree or HND in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing engineering role, ideally within electromechanical or precision assembly environments.
  • Strong understanding of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.
  • Hands-on experience with process validation, PFMEA, and production documentation.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead projects and influence across multidisciplinary teams
