Qualifications

• PhD, MD or equivalent in biomedical/clinical subject area.
• Experience managing editorial & peer-review workflows for journals.
• Strong understanding of publishing systems and ethics.

Responsibilities

• Own development of biomedical open access journals and outcomes.
• Develop commissioning strategies to grow journals and topics.
• Oversee peer review, ethical oversight, and publishing decisions.
• Collaborate with authors, editors, societies, and Sage teams for high-quality output.
• Build editorial boards and partnerships to advance journal goals.
