Job summary

EY UK is seeking a senior SAC consultant to lead complex SAC planning and consolidation projects for client engagements across industries. You will design scalable SAC solutions, deliver data integrations, and guide teams through Build, Test and Deploy phases.

You'll leverage SAP Analytics Cloud and related SAP technologies, demonstrate strong communication and sales skills, travel to client sites as needed, and mentor junior colleagues within EY's global SAP practice.

Qualifications

• SAC certification or equivalent experience required.

Job description

Salary: £68,000 - 108,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require SAC certification or equivalent experience.
• We require the ability to create complex system architecture, from designing an SAC solution to fit business functional requirements to proposing wider system landscape frameworks that enable data integrations.
• We require an understanding of SAC features and limitations.
• We require knowledge of leading practices for developing SAC models.
• We require strong financial planning and consolidation knowledge.
• We require full lifecycle project delivery experience, including Build, Test and Deploy phases, workshop planning and delivery, requirements and backlog definition, data model design, creation of Functional and Technical specifications, and system configuration.
• We require hands-on project delivery experience with SAC capabilities including data integration and modelling, planning calculations, consolidation rules and dashboarding.
• We require a deep understanding of business finance processes and how SAC can be leveraged to support them.
• We require an understanding of the sales process from opportunity through to delivery, with technical expertise to determine how SAC can provide value.
• We require demonstrable ability to manage large, complex programmes.
• We require understanding of the full life cycle of SAC planning implementations in both project delivery and financial management.
• We require experience working with waterfall and agile delivery methodologies.
• We require experience delivering financial planning projects, notably complex SAC planning delivery.
• We require experience designing complex SAC solutions.
• We require excellent communication skills and the ability to build trusted adviser relationships.
• We require strong presentation skills.
• We require proven sales expertise.
• We require willingness to travel as needed for client site engagements.
• We require understanding of the SAC Planning roadmap and industry trends.
• Ideally, we also value SAP analytics experience such as SAP BW, HANA, Datasphere or BDC.
• Ideally, we also value experience in complex SAC planning delivery.
• Ideally, we also value experience with SAP Group Reporting.
• Ideally, we also value experience with SAP BPC or Integrated Planning.
• Industry or sector expertise would be advantageous.
