Job summary

Access Partnership is seeking a regulatory market access and compliance specialist to join our frontier consultancy. You will work with satellite, space and telecom clients to obtain licenses, navigate regulatory frameworks and advise on policy developments.

You will engage with regulators across the UK and EU, lead cross-functional teams, manage key accounts, and shape policy positions. A track record in regulatory advocacy and strong writing skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • Experience in regulatory market access and compliance in the satellite/space sector.
  • Extensive experience with EU institutions, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
  • Strong understanding of telecommunications and digital technology policies.
  • Proven ability to influence, negotiate and manage client relationships.
  • Experience in project management and delivering products on schedule.
  • Attention to detail and excellent written skills.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with regulators, space agencies and clients to obtain licenses and permits.
  • Manage regulatory market access and compliance for clients.
  • Engage in national, regional and international regulatory advocacy.
  • Contribute to cross-company Business Development initiatives.

What You Can Expect To Be Doing
  • Actively engage with telecommunications regulators, space agencies and clients in the process of obtaining licenses and permits
  • Manage clients' regulatory market access and compliance
  • Engage in national, regional and international regulatory advocacy
  • Participate in cross company initiatives and groups, mainly on Business Development initiatives
  • Project management of key accounts
  • Manage direct relations with clients
  • Shape national policymakers' decision making
  • Thought leadershipto drivenew business outcomes and growth of thebusiness
Essential
What you will bring
  • Experience in regulatory market access and compliance in the satellite and space sector
  • Extensive experience working with EU institutions, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies, including the ability to participate in EU-level delegations (e.g., ITU-related activities)
  • Strong understandingoftelecommunications and digital technologypolicies
  • Demonstrable influencing and negotiating skills, ability managing client relationships effectively
  • Ability toformulate and present complex information in a clear and concise manner while recommending to clients the most effective way forward
  • Project management experience, record of delivering products on schedule, within budget
  • Attention to detail (essential)
  • Excellent written skills and ability to draft policy analysis, advocacy collaterals, white papers and articles.
Desirable
  • Broad understanding of regulatory frameworks, politics and tech trends
  • Track record of successful sales and business development experience
  • Fluency in a second language
  • Excellent leadership and inter-personal skills
  • A professional qualification or a degree in law, space, aviation or telecommunications is an advantage
