Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Senior Lead Software Engineer to drive the design, development, and delivery of trusted technology products in a secure and scalable manner.

You will lead code construction, review peers, and guide architectural decisions across multiple tech stacks. You will influence product design, operations, and engineering culture while mentoring teams to implement best practices in cloud-native development, CI/CD, and security.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.
• Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Advanced working experience with Java, Spring Boot, React, and Kubernetes.

As a Senior Lead Software Engineer in the PTT team, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing, building, and delivering trusted technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You will leverage your deep technical expertise and problem-solving skills to address challenges across multiple technologies and applications. • Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods
• Skilled in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
• Advanced understanding of agile methodologies, including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security
• Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (such as cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or mobile)
• In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and IT systems
• Practical cloud native experience

  Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Experience with Java and Oracle
  • Familiarity with messaging platforms such as RMQ and Kafka
  • Expertise in Kubernetes
  • Proficiency in ReactJS and JavaScript
  • Functional knowledge of FX or Dervis Settlements domain
