As the Manager, Insights & Analytics (I&A), you will play a strategic role in shaping commercial decision‑making across the UK affiliate. Acting as a trusted partner to affiliate leadership and commercial teams, you will transform external and internal data into proactive, actionable insights to support execution and delivery of business outcomes. In this highly visible role, you will help define portfolio and brand strategies, identifying and assessing strategic opportunities, and connect strategy to results through robust measurement frameworks. You'll collaborate closely with I&A Cluster team members, Centers of Excellence and global partners while ensuring that local needs, nuances, and opportunities are fully represented. Leadership & Affiliate Partnership
- Serve as a core member of the Affiliate Leadership Team, representing I&A and championing data‑driven decision‑making across the portfolio
- Partner with BU Heads, GM, and cross‑functional teams to align insights, analytics, and investment decisions with strategic priorities
Insights Generation & Market Understanding
- Deliver integrated market, competitor, customer, and brand insights by partnering with local teams, I&A CoEs and translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations
- Support primary and secondary market research in collaboration with relevant local stakeholders and Global CoE
- Drive continuous improvement by introducing new data sources, methodologies, and analytics capabilities
Forecasting & Scenario Planning
- Develop portfolio forecasts in partnership with Finance, Market Access, and commercial teams
- Monitor performance vs. forecast, assess risks/opportunities, and support scenario modelling for strategic decision‑making
Dashboarding & Performance Reporting
- Maintain and enhance core dashboards and performance reports for affiliate and global leadership
- Interpret KPIs, provide commentary, and ensure high‑quality, accurate data delivery
- Manage external data sources and collaborate on scalable reporting platforms (e.g., Insights360)
Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE)
- Support design, implementation, and continuous improvement of SFE frameworks and processes (segmentation, targeting, call planning)
- Provide insights to optimise field force performance and ensure local needs are represented in global initiatives
Incentive Compensation (IC)
- Design, adapt, and manage local IC plans aligned with global frameworks
- Ensure accurate calculations, clear communication, and analysis of IC effectiveness
Data Management & Operational Excellence
- Oversee key data operations, customer data maintenance and vendor coordination
- Apply strong project management to ensure timely, high‑quality delivery and support enhancement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required (Pharmaceutical or Business‑related field preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in business analysis & insights, marketing strategy, or commercial excellence within the pharmaceutical industry
- Experience with SFE/IC analytics and commercial analytics methodologies
- Prior involvement in forecasting, market research, dashboarding, or portfolio insights is strongly valued
- Advanced knowledge of Python preferred
Knowledge, Skills & Attributes
- Strong familiarity with pharmaceutical data sources (sales, market data, CRM, financial, events)
- Advanced analytical, research, planning, forecasting, and project management capabilities
- High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) preferred; Python strongly preferred
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and presentation skills
- Strong attention to detail, customer centricity, and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Energetic, curious, resilient, and outcome‑focused
- Willingness to travel approximately ~10%
