Your role

As part of our growth agenda, we are seeking an additional Senior Manager in Healthcare at Capgemini Invent. We want you to bring your significant sector expertise to support our ambition to be the Healthcare Consultancy partner of choice. We are passionate about helping our clients to deliver sustainable, innovative change that makes a meaningful difference to citizens across the nation. We will need you to work with our Vice President and Directors to scope and lead complex programmes for our clients, have proven success in business development with evidence of strong commercial acumen, actively contribute to internal initiatives and develop your team(s) from a skills, experience, and capability perspective. Our Healthcare subsector is fast growing, this translates to abundant opportunities to shape the subsector positively for the future, a challenge we want our Senior Managers to meet head on. While working in a supportive team environment, you will have the confidence and experience to drive our business development activities.

In this role you will play a key role in:

  • Helping our clients realise their strategic transformation agenda through leading insight and exceptional delivery. You'll be up to date on Public Sector trends and issues and a recognised subject matter expert in Healthcare
  • Developing deep, trust-based relationships with clients in a sell-deliver model
  • Bringing the power of the global Capgemini organisation to drive improved account delivery and client success
  • Supporting the leadership team in the Public Sector to build the team that will continue to deliver excellence for our clients. This means recruiting, engaging, developing and supporting a diverse team, and role-modelling your passionate focus on delivering the best outcomes for every client
  • Supporting Capgemini Invent's market offerings by writing propositions that reflect our position as a leading public sector management consultancy

As part of your role, you will also have the opportunity to contribute to the business and your own personal growth, through activities that form part of the following categories:

  • Business development - Leading/contributing to proposals, RFIs, bids, proposition development, client pitch contribution, client hosting at events
  • Internal contribution - Campaign development, internal think-tanks, whitepapers, practice development (operations, recruitment, team events & activities), offering development, partnerships and alliances
  • Learning and development - Training to support your career development and the skills demand within the company, certifications etc

Your profile:

You will have:

  • A passion for Healthcare in the Public and Private Sectors and a keen interest in making a positive difference for society
  • Direct NHS consultancy and digital transformation experience at a senior level, including complex delivery (operational and/or clinical) and team leadership
  • A background from a management consulting practice or equivalent experience
  • Experience of designing and leading large scale, complex programme management and transformation initiatives in the Public Sector
  • Currently working in a major Consulting firm, and/or in industry but having a consulting background
  • Proven ability to be successful in a matrixed organisation, and to enlist support and commitment from peers in selling and delivering consulting solutions
  • Experience of proposition building and delivery
  • Business development - utilising a combination of the organisation's broader pre-existing relationships, company relationships and your own network, you'll be generating c.£1m of consulting revenues annually
