Overview

Role Purpose: Are you ready to lead the execution of innovative marketing as part of our Customer Lifecycle Management Strategy, for Acquisition and Onboarding? As the Senior Manager of Full Funnel Marketing, you'll drive the implementation of Customer Lifecycle Management (CLM), focusing on targeted acquisition of high potential customers and the gamified activation and onboarding journeys that set the tone for a long and enduring relationship for key customer segments. This is a critical role in our marketing strategy, focused on driving real growth in our priority customer segments, enabling the future deepening and retention that build lifetime value. Your leadership will be pivotal in defining growth initiatives and mobilising agile teams to drive change and deliver impactful results. You will lead the execution of innovative marketing strategies as part of the CLM strategy, focusing on growth in priority customer segments, understanding performance levers for high-quality growth, defining growth initiatives, and mobilising agile teams to inspire change and deliver impactful results.

Responsibilities
  • Implementation Leadership: Lead the execution of the CLM plan by defining hypotheses, assembling agile pods, driving exceptional communications experiences, signing off on plans and campaigns, and owning the outcomes.
  • Marketing execution and creativity at scale: Leading, innovating and driving the exceptional delivery of growth initiatives across the full marketing stack for an experience-led suite of brands.
  • Market Trends & Innovation: Stay abreast of marketing trends, continuously experiment with new routes to market, and leverage new data and technology.
  • Agile Pods Management: Lead agile pods to tackle key marketing challenges, ensuring innovation at pace through temporary, lean, and cross-disciplinary teams.
  • Campaign Handover: Ensure a smooth transition of successful campaign work to Growth, CRM, and Campaigns & Social accelerator teams for automation and BAU delivery.
  • Team Leadership: Inspire and nurture the team, fostering a culture of excellence and ensuring team members are fulfilled in their work.
  • Full Funnel Marketing Planning & Execution: Proven experience in designing and delivering successful acquisition marketing plans, developing cross-channel marketing activations powered by insights and analytical rigor. Evidence of driving high quality acquisition in competitive markets, and a proven track record of leading world class multi-channel campaigns.
  • Commercial Acumen: Leverage marketplace knowledge and a strong network to make key marketing decisions, driving commercial returns aligned with Group strategy. Experience of managing and optimising large scale £m marketing budgets for brands.
  • Marketing Innovation: Drive innovative marketing campaigns that get noticed and deliver commercial outcomes, working within agile methodologies to test, learn, and scale successful hypotheses. Deep knowledge of traditional and emerging media channels, enabling sound judgement on the right plan to deliver target outcomes.
  • Agile Operating Models: Advocate for agile ways of working, role modelling servant leadership, and influencing key changes to improve marketing agility.
  • Stakeholder Management & Influencing: Manage expectations and foster trust and collaboration, anticipating and mitigating conflicts to gain long-term commitment. With evidence of operating in large complex organisations, winning commitment to move at pace.
