We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Senior Manager Financial Crime, Transactional Products.

The Senior Manager Financial Crime, Transactional Products is responsible for ensuring the effective identification, management and mitigation of FC risks in relation to GTRF and GPS activities and ensuring timely advice is provided. Responsibilities for the role include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide advisory services on financial crime risk related matters for GTRF and GPS activity to ensure clear understanding of compliance risk exposure with respect to clients, transactions and products.
  • Strong partnership with GTRF and GPS to provide advice on and oversee compliance with AML policy and AML controls and drive the execution of the FC control framework.
  • Provide FC support on key initiatives, coordinate processes and projects under supervision.
  • Ensure policies and procedures related to product review are comprehensive and in line with current regulations.
  • Exercise risk steward challenge, act as independent trusted advisory in governance forums, issue management, fostering a compliance culture and optimizing relations with risk owners and control owners.
  • Stay at the forefront of key regulatory changes to ensure proactive communication with business and develop appropriate policy and framework to manage the changes.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

  • A comprehensive understanding of the regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements associated with financial services and experience of working within relevant environment/s, i.e. Financial Crime risk management advisory background
  • Strong knowledge of GTRF and / or GPS
  • Proven track record of managing risk within a complex organisation, making decisions and managing competing demands
  • Experience working in relevant market/context, with good working knowledge of current legislation and regulation relating to Financial Crime risks
  • Proven experience in a relevant role, i.e. within the financial services industry covering AML, Sanctions, ABC, Fraud, Tax Evasion, Transaction Monitoring, Client/Payment Screening is essential
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop high performing terms.
