ROLE OVERVIEW
PURPOSE OF JOB

You will lead, develop, and manage the global Accounts payable function, driving continuous improvement and efficiency across our processes. In a period of growth and transformation, you will play a critical role in supporting the centralisation of accounts payable activities, integrating newly acquired businesses, and ensuring consistency, accuracy, and compliance across all operations. You will also take a lead role in delivering and managing key projects ranging from process enhancements and automation initiatives to the seamless integration of acquisitions ensuring that project objectives align with our overall business strategy and financial goals.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
  • With the support of the AD, you will help lead the global accounts payable team providing strategic direction, oversight, and mentorship to drive performance and continuous improvement.
  • Drive the centralisation of accounts payable activities across regions and newly acquired entities, supporting the integration process and harmonising procedures.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve processes, controls and technologies for maximum efficiency, scalability, and compliance.
  • Oversight of Supplier and Team email boxes to ensure delegation of work to achieve agreed departmental turn‑around time (SLAs).
  • Collaborate with the Finance, IT, Procurement and M&A teams to support acquisition activity and process integration.
  • Manage and oversee invoice processing, payment runs, expense reimbursements, vendor management, and reconciliations.
  • Ensure timely, accurate payments and compliance with statutory requirements, company policies, and controls.
  • Resolve complex queries and escalations from vendors, colleagues, and management.
  • Lead or support accounts payable aspects of finance transformation, including managing key projects, change management initiatives, and communication with global stakeholders.
  • Oversight of and during periods of absence, provide cover for team tasks to include Internal Group Entity Transfer Pricing invoicing, journal processing, cash settlements and intercompany working capital loan offsets.
  • Review and approval of more complex processing items and business nuances as instances arise.Responsible for hiring, training, performance management and development of accounts payable team members.
  • Uphold the Group's policies and standards, ensuring legislative regulations are followed.
  • Undertake any other duties as required.
  • Adhere to Risk & Compliance procedures in relation to regulatory requirements and AML legislation.
  • Adhere to JTC core values and expected behaviours.
