Overview
The financial services industry is undergoing rapid transformation driven by technological advancements and evolving customer expectations. Deloitte’s Enterprise Transformation and Agility (ETA) practice helps clients navigate this complex landscape by providing strategic guidance and implementation support to achieve their transformational goals. As a Senior Manager you will lead and manage engagements, delivering impactful solutions to our Financial Services clients across three core domains.
- Modern Ways of Working: Lead the design and implementation of agile ways of working and operating models, guiding clients through transformations and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Technology Modernisation/Future of: Develop and deliver technology roadmaps and strategies, advising clients on emerging technologies and leading modernisation programmes.
- Technology Financial Management: Lead engagements focused on optimising technology budgets, managing third‑party ecosystems, and implementing robust financial management practices.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage client engagements, overseeing project teams and ensuring successful delivery.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to the most senior client stakeholders.
- Lead business development activities, identifying and pursuing new opportunities.
- Mentor and coach junior team members.
- Contribute to thought leadership and practice development.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in technology consulting (or equivalent) with relevant experience in a management or equivalent role.
- Project / Programme delivery leadership in waterfall and agile methodologies.
- Business analysis / functional leader of requirements gathering, user stories elaboration, etc.
- Agile coaching/mentoring in SCRUM or KANBAN.
- PMO / Value Management Office or equivalent.
- Proven track record of leading and delivering successful client engagements.
- Experience in the Financial Services industry is required. Deep knowledge of agile methodologies, emerging technologies, and TBM is essential.
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Hybrid Working Policy
You will be based in UK wide with a hybrid working model. You may work in local office, virtual collaboration spaces, client sites, or remotely depending on role requirements.
