Job summary

Radiant is redefining AI infrastructure design. The role leads the creation of electrical, mechanical, civil and BIM design standards for live data center projects, with hands-on engineering in early stages.

You will review packages, set high-density GPU cooling and power topology standards, and collaborate with EPCs and consultants in workshops. You’ll build out senior technical resources across projects as the portfolio grows, while maintaining a practical, no-blueprint approach to problem

Qualifications

• Attitude matters more to us here than number of years of experience.
• Strong hands-on design experience in electrical or mechanical engineering for data centres or similar mission-critical facilities.
• Comfort producing or heavily marking up design output yourself, not just directing others.
• Working knowledge of high-density GPU cooling (air and liquid) and power distribution/redundancy topologies.
• Ability to set a standard from a blank page - you won't be handed one.
• Confidence pushing back on consultants and EPCs directly on technical substance.
• We care much more about how you think through a design problem than the number of years on your CV.
• Engineering degree (mechanical, electrical, or related discipline).

We are not building a generic cloud. We are building purpose-built AI infrastructure - from powered land, to compute, and software.

As we scale, we're building this organisation from the ground up. We're looking for people who'd rather build the playbook than inherit one - who are comfortable doing the work themselves as well as directing others, and who can adapt as fast as our strategy does. This is a startup model: attitude and adaptability matter more to us than years of experience or the size of team you've previously managed.

This is a cross-functional role requiring strong technical, commercial, and delivery capabilities, with exposure to executive stakeholders and EPCs, design consultants, OEMs, and every regional Project Director relying on one consistent design standard.

What You'll Do

You'll set and personally hold the line on Radiant's data center design standard for electrical, mechanical, civil and architectural design across every live project. In the early stages, you'll be doing a meaningful share of the engineering yourself, not just reviewing it.
