About The Role

The Global Core HR Senior Manager is responsible for overseeing delivery of the daily operational needs of FTI’s Core HR team to best support the global workforce. This role reports to the Director of HR Services and has a matrixed reporting line into the EMEA HR VP. The Senior Manager will oversee approximately 8–12 members across the EMEA region, 2–3 in North America, and 1 in Asia, consisting of Advisor & Sr Advisor level staff. The Senior Manager will also be part of a new team focused on Workday Governance & Process Excellence, working globally as a consultative partner to the COE and HR teams to optimize HR processes in Workday and beyond.

The successful candidate will harmonise, oversee and suggest improvements to HR operational workflows, particularly in Workday, and lead projects with a strong focus on change management and task delegation. The role will also coach, develop talent and provide thought leadership to a team of HR Advisor & Senior Advisor level professionals, ensuring performance is aligned to SLAs and standards.

What You Will Do
  • Oversee the documentation, review, and maintenance of all HR processes, procedures, and policies in the Global HR Knowledge Base for 34 countries.
  • Ensure regional processes are aligned with Global HR core processes.
  • Optimize our Workday strategy across HR processes to deliver the best outcomes for employees, HR teams and managers.
  • Build guardrails into Workday processes and approvals to follow Governance North Star globally and identify areas for improvement and consistency.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for development and improvement of the HR function in EMEA and the pilot Core HR team in North America.
  • Identify automation and Workday improvement opportunities in partnership with the People Operations & Systems team.
  • Lead ad hoc projects to ensure timely and accurate completion; delegate projects to team members for development opportunities.
  • Develop and execute change management plans for projects and/or change initiatives.
  • Partner with other Core Ops departments (e.g., Payroll, IT) and HR Centres of Excellence to drive process improvement, particularly in Workday.
  • Develop guardrails to ensure Workday processes and approvals follow protocols and align with business strategy.
  • Manage local HR vendor relationships and spend.
  • Oversee development and training of HR Advisors across multiple countries in the EMEA, North America and Asia regions (e.g., UK, France, Germany, US).
  • Collaborate with HR business partners to ensure the Advisory Support model works smoothly.
  • Develop agreed goals and performance targets for all direct reports.
  • Drive team performance through regular feedback and performance reviews.
  • Minimal travel may be required to other offices within the EMEA region and the United States.

Basic Qualifications (or equivalent):
  • 6+ years of experience in an HR operations team (including at a leadership level) within a global organization, including project management, process improvement and people management.
  • Strong understanding of HR operations and related processes (Leave Management, Compensation Process, Employee Relations, Employee Data Maintenance, Offboarding/Onboarding, Performance Management, Talent Development).
  • Workday experience is required.
Preferred Qualifications (or equivalent):
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with CIPD qualification.
  • Professional services experience is desirable.
  • Experience with ServiceNow, PeopleSoft, SuccessFactors is beneficial but not essential.
  • Additional languages are advantageous.
