Job summary

City of Edinburgh Council is seeking a Senior Manager, Citizen Transformation to lead and shape transformation programmes that improve how services are designed and delivered for everyone who lives, works in or visits Edinburgh.

This 36-hour per week role is fixed term until 31 December 2027, with a salary in the £80,569–£96,423 range. The role calls for a thoughtful, warm leader who can turn ideas into practical improvements that matter to the public.

As Senior Manager, Citizen Transformation, you will help lead change that makes a real difference to people's everyday lives and supports colleagues to deliver services with confidence, compassion and pride.

This is a role for a thoughtful, warm and imaginative leader - someone who listens well, brings people with them and can turn good ideas into practical improvements that matter.

You will work alongside talented colleagues, partners, senior leaders and elected members to shape transformation programmes that improve how services are designed and delivered. You will encourage fresh thinking, use insight and technology well, and help build services that feel modern, inclusive and responsive.
