This is a diverse role working with a truly enviable portfolio of local clients. This is a newly created appointment and a key strategic hire for the firm, the successful applicant will work closely within the senior leadership team to drive growth plans in line with company values. The Job

Working closely with the firm’s Director of Accountancy, your role will primarily consist of ensuring the delivery of all client advisory, accounting, & tax services. Main responsibilities include:

• Oversee the preparation & review of quarterly management accounts.
• Review & completion of year end accounts & tax returns.
• Lead & participate in strategic planning meetings with clients, ensuring delivery of high-value advice.
• Act as a primary point of contact for a portfolio of key clients, ensuring excellent relationships are maintained ^ developed.
• Identify & contribute to business development opportunities.
• Manage & coach the accountancy team, ensuring even work load distribution & efficient project planning.

Candidate Criteria

Candidates who will be successfully short-listed for this position will possess the following:

• ACA or ACCA qualified with a minimum of 3 years’ experience, preferably within a practice setting.
• Proven track record in preparing & reviewing management & year end accounts.
• Strong leadership skills, prior management experience would be particularly desirable.
• Commercial awareness in identifying opportunities for growth & developing strategy plans.
• Excellent organisational & communication skills.
