Job summary

Michael Page is seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join our Addlestone team and support the Head of Finance in day-to-day financial operations.

The role covers monthly management accounts, payroll, cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and involvement in audits and statutory accounts. A professional accountancy qualification and strong UK GAAP knowledge are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Professional accountancy qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
• Good understanding of UK GAAP; IFRS or Group reporting exposure is beneficial.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data clearly.

Responsibilities

• Review and support monthly management accounts, including ledger reviews and variance analysis.
• Assist with reporting to Head Office and consolidation requirements.
• Support IFRS-related queries and group reporting adjustments.
• Oversee monthly payroll and pension scheme administration with reconciliations.
• Assist with cash flow forecasting, budgeting and reforecasting as required.
• Provide cover across core finance processes (invoicing, reconciliations, expenses).
• Assist with year-end and interim audits, including preparation of schedules and statutory accounts.
• Support tax calculations and related schedules.
• Contribute to ad-hoc finance projects and operational tasks.
