Job summary

Amberjack Global Limited is seeking a qualified Management Accountant to join the Finance team on a 12-month fixed-term maternity cover contract. The role is hybrid, requiring 3 days per week in the Newbury office, starting November 2026.

You will produce monthly consolidated accounts, support budgeting and forecasting, and provide clear financial insight to SLT, Board and shareholders. You will oversee revenue recognition for service-based contracts and supervise the AP Assistant while

Qualifications

Experience in a professional services organisation.
Revenue recognition for service-based contracts.
Experience producing consolidated Group accounts and UK/IFRS standards knowledge.
Some team leadership or staff management experience.
Advanced Excel skills and experience using a SaaS-based accounting system.

Responsibilities

Producing monthly consolidated group management accounts with journals, schedules and reconciliations.
Reporting revenue and overhead variances against budget and forecast.
Preparing gross margin analysis, campaign reviews, sales bonus calculations and supporting schedules.
Maintaining balance sheet reconciliations, fixed asset register, depreciation and amortisation.
Managing revenue recognition and AP/AR activities, cashflow forecasting and client invoicing.
Assisting monthly reforecasts, annual budgets, year-end reporting and audit.
Covering for Group Financial Controller during leave and building relationships with stakeholders.
