Senior Management Accountant – Interim (9 Months)

We are partnering with a national broadcaster to appoint an Interim Senior Management Accountant for an initial 9-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity for an ACA-qualified, Big 4/Top-tier trained accountant to step into a high-profile media environment and gain exposure to a large, complex organisation operating at scale.

The Role

• Own and deliver monthly management accounts, including journals, accruals, balance sheet reconciliations and P&L reporting
• Provide detailed variance analysis and commentary for senior stakeholders
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes
• Assist with group and PLC-level reporting requirements (desirable)
• Work closely with commercial and operational teams to ensure financial insight supports decision-making

The Ideal Candidate

• ACA qualified with Big 4 or Top Tier training
• Strong management accounting background with hands‑on month‑end ownership
• Immediately available and comfortable operating in an interim capacity
• Industry agnostic, this is a great opportunity for a Big 4–trained ACA to transition into media.
• Exposure to PLC reporting environments is desirable
