Baltic Recruitment Services Ltd is seeking a Maintenance Senior Technician (Electrical Bias) in Pontypool on a 3-shift pattern (Mon-Fri). The role reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and focuses on safety, reliability, and cost improvements to keep production flowing.

Essentials include an apprenticeship or HNC in engineering, strong PLC fault-finding skills (AB Logix, Siemens Step7/TIA), and the ability to coach technicians while driving improvements in OEE and asset care.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship or HNC in engineering.
• Must understand OEE components and calculations.
• Strong communication skills at all levels.
• Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines.
• Electrical control fault finding in manufacturing environments.
• PLC fault finding with AB Logix and Siemens Step7/TIA Portal.

Responsibilities

• Promote health and safety within engineering and lead by example.
• Coach and develop associate Technicians and apprentices.
• Ensure right first time repairs and protect customer interests.
• Analyse OEE data, identify issues and implement improvements.
• Log maintenance activities in CMMS and monitor corrective actions.
• Support maintenance strategy development and critical spares identification.
